March 7th, 2024 - Holy Heart Events and Announcements
Multicultural Announcements
March 1st marked the first day of Multicultural Month, and with that, the importance of social diversity! With so many different students, teachers, faculty members and others in our school who come from different backgrounds with such strikingly different cultures, why not start a conversation with the recognition of differences? Take some time to learn about your peers, your members of staff, and most importantly, your friends. This is a month of learning, learning of what makes us different yet the same and how these differences shape who we are as people.
With the aforementioned addressed, make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Multicultural Bulletin Board being enacted in the following days. We aim to highlight countries in which our student population were born in as well as cultural practices that these regions exhibit!
March 21st is Holy Hearts Anti Racism assembly, stay tuned for more information as time progresses.
Later this month, around March 25th-28th, there will be Holy Hearts Multicultural Day where people are invited to wear clothes from their culture and attend our Multicultural Hangout at lunch! There will be a Multicultural Trivia with prizes involved! Stay tuned for more information.
